- His faction was essentially the Sultan’s faction. (S2)
- He and his brother Prince Ikram did not have a good relationship. (S2)
- Death confirmed by Ismad ibn-Salmaan; state funeral held in Isbi’liyyah. (S1, S3)
- Consensus read: no one seems to benefit from his death, and everyone was surprised by it. (S2)
- Naqi al-Akram, an Eagle Knight often assigned to protect him, is also dead — news reached Haroun, who squired for him, during the funeral weeks. Whether Naqi was in the ruins is unestablished. (S2, Aaron)
