“Through the Storm” — the order that protects Cardacci. It fought a demon alongside Owl Knights in Summer 1735, and was untouched when the Owl was destroyed for consorting with the Deceiver eight months later.

Protects the kingdom of Cardacci. Motto: “Through the Storm.” One of the six Orders Militant; its head holds a seat on the Divine Council (Western Church).
In the Campaign (all GM)
- Summer 1735, Stoccarda: a snake demon possessing a noblewoman revealed itself at a party and killed a number of nobles. Members of the Order of the Gull, with visiting Owl Knights, killed it.
- Spring 1736: the Order of the Phoenix dissolves the Order of the Owl for having fallen to the Deceiver. The Gull — which had just fought a demon shoulder to shoulder with them — is not implicated.
Why It Matters
The Gull is a living witness to the Owl’s last year. Whatever the Phoenix charged the Owl with, there are Gull knights who worked with Owl knights eight months before the dissolution and can say what they were actually like. They are also the order of the diocese Baldessare Malipiero came from.
Open Questions
- Who among the Gull was at Stoccarda, and what did they make of the charges against the Owl?
- The Gull’s seat on the Divine Council voted in the Spring 1734 convocation that made the Archprelate of their own capital the Most Holy.
