The Most Holy who confirmed Jehanne d’Allais over the Order of the Owl. Died of old age in Winter 1733, before the Owl’s fall.
What We Know (all GM)
- Grand Prelate of the Western Church through the opening years of The Troubles.
- Fall 1731: confirmed Jehanne d’Allais — Michel d’Envers’s nominee — as knight commander of the Order of the Owl, within a season of the assassination of Marc Abayante.
- Winter 1733: dies of old age. A convocation is scheduled for the following spring.
- Summer 1734: succeeded by Baldessare Malipiero, who takes the name Pious III.
Why He Matters
He is the pontiff of record for the installation of the Owl’s last commander, but not for its destruction — the dissolution in Spring 1736 belongs to his successor. Two Most Holies, two halves of the same story.
